The torsion spring on Mr. Oper’s garage door broke and trying to keep using the door in that condition was liable to cause further damage.
Our Solution:
Before replacing the broken spring, we used a ladder to hold the door open and secure it in place. After removing the broken parts of the torsion spring, we installed a matching unit from our inventory. Then, we adjusted the new spring’s tension to match the garage door’s weight. Gave it a little lubrication and the door was good to go again.
